Day 1. Northern Cape Rapid Response Team Training, at Upington Northern Cape Department of Health The South African Red Cross Society (SARCS) IFRC Africa GBH WHO African Region
The South African Red Cross in collaboration with Old Mutual SA delivered 10,000 litres of water, hygiene packs, and purification sachets to residents in Themba, Hammanskraal, City of Tshwane as part of relief efforts during this difficult time.
SARCS is on the ground conducting assessments and monitoring the extreme weather event in Indaba Durban. To address immediate needs, SARCS is providing hotmeals to evacuation centres with the assistance of Pick n Pay.
