An absolute disgrace from the Metro! Michael Barrett, from Fermanagh, was falsely accused and hung for it. At the same time the Brits were blowing up forts and looting Ethiopia. #FactsMatter

Michael's family been seeking truth & justice for 50 yrs. RUC, knowing they had murdered in cold-blood, covered it up. Paper Trail have found more evidence & admission by top-ranking Brit army that they helped. The attorney general must grant a fresh inquest. #TimeForTruth

It is said that justice is what love looks like in public; today is yet another cruel illustration that the British state has no love for the people of Ireland The British legacy bill is opposed by all political parties & every victims group - this is not the end #NeverGivingUp

British gov should scrap cruel & callous legacy bill that deny access to truth. Yesterday #BillOfShame was passed at Westminster. Denying truth to the families of Louis Leonard, Jim Murphy, Micheal Leonard and countless others. We stand beside these families in #NeverGivingUp

History can be made today. It's long past time that Irish Unity was a priority for the Dublin government. Micheál Martin comments this week are disgusting, offensive, but sadly not surprising. We are asking all our friends to do the right thing and vote for change. #GE24

We think particularly of the people from Fermanagh, from both sides of the community, who took part and struck a blow for Irish freedom at Easter 1916. Remember them, as we do, with pride. Honour them by wearing an Easter Lily 🇮🇪 Read more about them: 1916fermanagh.blogspot.com/?m=1
