The Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase Two report was published this week and I was asked for comments by the media on the issues highlighted in the report and regarding the recent high rise fire in Slough attended by Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service crews.
OTD 1 year ago, FBU Northamptonshire were mid campaign which, concluding - removing a disgraced and misogynistic PFCC. ๐ ๐ FBU Reg6 East Midlands played a huge supporting role. ๐ช It was fantastic to see the commitment of Vice President Steve Wright supporting the members & campaign.

Another high-rise in Slough with flammable cladding, just a couple of weeks after a major fire and now, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service plans to cut cover? Residents deserve better. Safety should come first, not budget cuts.
