These past two weeks, the team has been cutting glades, rides, access paths and stalker lanes Brampton Wood Fuels. The sections cut rotate between years so that there’s always overwintering habitat for wildlife. The Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs & Northants

Messy vs tidy? Which attracts more wildlife? At the north east end of Roman Lake at #GodmanchesterNR we’ve been laying, coppicing and pollarding willows along the water’s edge to prolong tree’s lifespans and to create more interesting habitat structure The Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs & Northants

The rams and ewes at our Pegsdon Hills reserve in Bedfordshire have been mixing this week - fingers crossed for lots of lambs in the spring. Conservation grazing is vital for this landscape. Thanks to our livestock volunteers who help our team manage these beautiful animals! 🐑🐏

We're asking all visitors to our nature reserves to keep your dogs on a lead. Dogs are welcome on our sites, but for livestock, birds and other species they can cause problems when they are off leads. Find out more on our webpage wildlifebcn.org/dogs
