You never know what you’ll find in the prize box. Students earn prizes by bringing back their books each week. So fun!

Thank you for helping to make last week’s book fair the most successful fair we’ve had in years! It was so fun to see the kids so excited about their new books!

Much to the students’ surprise, we did math in library to prepare for the book fair. We rounded up, estimated, calculated taxes, and picked our top titles. First step of shopping: know your budget!

It was so great to listen to the AHS choir and the TMS orchestra, especially seeing former Eagle Springs Elem eagles soaring in middle and high school.

We continued our Gift of Nothing tradition (year 12)! We read the Gift of Nothing and then created gifts for people we love because the best gifts come from the heart and can’t be bought: love, friendship, and time together. I love to see their creativity!

The library is the place for creativity!These two 5th graders love to plan out a city or community to build. They come up with the theme (park, city, etc) and then build it out.

We enjoyed having one of our Watch D.O.G.S during library time. He drew a Stitch, and the kids loved coloring it.

Our Battle of the Books team, The Big Dawgs, had a great time at the district competition this weekend. They worked hard, and we’re proud of them!

Many thanks to the HumbleISD Foundation for helping us buy extra copies of the kids’ favorite books so they have a better chance of checking it out. We are so thankful and so excited! (I was too excited to get a picture.)
