So excited to share latest work from Elliott Lab! We find BIRC6, an enormous #ubiquitin IAP ligase, directly inhibits caspases and we show how this is blocked by SMAC. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… Plus great mass spec collab with Adán Pinto Fernández Kessler Group Oxford
Thanks for attending the very first Ubiquitomics Conference University of Oxford! The presentations were excellent and generated very exciting discussions. A big shout out to all Keble College, Oxford for having us. Until the next one!
Great to show you around the Department of Biochemistry at Oxford University Ivan and to chat about ubiquitin on a sunny day in Oxford!
Amazing work from our colleagues Elliott Lab in Science today. Congratulations, what a monster of a structure and lovely biochemistry as well! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Delighted to share our latest structural & biochemical work uncovering how the gigantic #ubiquitin ligase, BIRC6, regulates cell death - out now in Science Magazine! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… Department of Biochemistry at Oxford University Larissa Di Cara Ellison Adán Pinto Fernández @BenedicktKessler
Congratulations also to @fisherlab1 (Moritz Hunkeler) and @clausen_lab (julian ehrmann) for great BIRC6 publications too! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Excited to share our most recent work on the giant ubiquitin ligase #BIRC6 out now in Science Magazine science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…! Thread below 🧵 (1/7)
