It's vital that this work doesn't get forgotten.

This one hits hard. I remember visiting Dad after his stroke. He couldn't move, speak, eat or see. 11 years on he's learnt the alphabet, how to walk with one-sided paralysis, how to communicate with aphasia. Now he lives independently and volunteers with other stroke survivors.

Beyond the major #AutumnBudget headlines, it looks like a reduced level of SPF funding (£900m) for a transition year, ahead of wider reforms. £1bn of Core Levelling Up Fund projects (25-26) but possible (probable?) cancellation of Culture and Capital projects announced in Spring.

It's still #smallbusinesssaturday and if you haven't been out much today to spend locally, this is a great cause to get behind!
