The excellently refurbished ⁦University of Virginia Library⁩ with so many handsome, well lit, quiet working spaces. Here hanging out with Edgar Allen Poe across from his room (reminding me I am a member of the Raven Society) 🐦‍⬛ 📖

Nearly 30 years ago, I was warmly welcomed into a family in the rural areas of Chiweshe, Zimbabwe🇿🇼 🛖 🌽. We’ve kept in touch, across the generations, and today the granddaughter of my Amai (mother) became my first Apprentice at the Skinners’ Company.

My first visit to St Hugh's College and gosh it is gorgeous. Historic and modern feminist vibe, reassuring Neo Geo charm, good brickwork and love those bow windows
