I’ve spoken about my neighbour Branka before. But I suppose I have a lot of new followers so I’m going to talk about her again. Branka was my Jewish neighbour. She was an elderly woman. Her parents died in the Holocaust. She survived Jasenovac and Auschwitz, I wanna say.

Branka came back to Sarajevo because she couldn’t handle the discrimination and hatred she saw in Israel. These are her words. Not mine. She was disappointed and deeply impacted by the plight of the Palestinian people. She didn’t know but she had moved into a Palestinian home.
