unsafeCoerce may seem like it's always the fastest way to convert a value of one type to another, but it's not. It's an obstacle for the optimizer and so unboxing will not happen, while fromIntegral may end up giving you not only unboxing, but also the desired no-op conversion.

100k views on the most toothless, unimaginative, poorly concocted insult/meme I've posted on this platform. What a pitiful audience have I chosen to entertain.

One must imagine Camus retarded. Even ChatGPT understands that. It's beyond me how people consider The Myth of Sisyphus anything more than the pile of stinking garbage that it is.

Alexis King is one of the smartest people I know, and she is looking for a job. She's the only person whose tech videos I watch. The topic of higher-order effects in terms of delimited continuations was pure gold, both technically and in presentation. Hire her, she's that good.

One of the core rules of the Unix philosophy is that each program should do one thing and do it well. For `find` that apparently means wiping out your whole folder if you get the order of arguments wrong.

I currently work part-time. I just calculated that working 33% more would only increase my take-home pay by 20%. I repeat: 33% more effort for 20% more reward. This country is practically begging me not to contribute to the economy. This is not good news for your timeline.

I don't get how big accounts survive in here. My measly one got 200 replies today, a large share of which was so mind-numbingly dumb that I want to spend the rest of the night hugging my knees in the shower. Why am I doing this to myself, when the Haskell bubble feels like this:

I swear when I tell people about these things, they think I'm batshit crazy. "What do you mean it's not allowed for you to have access to live market data?" "What do you mean you can't buy euro-denominated funds?" "What do you mean they ask you to call to place an order?"
