I am excited to share that I have been appointed as the next proud High School Principal at YISS. I am overjoyed to be able to continue to serve the YISS community and look forward to working with the many committed educators to support the growth of all students.

Welcoming new members to our school community starts at the airport, where our staff ambassadors and leadership greet them, and we cap the welcome week off with a Korean baseball game experience. But it’s just the start of their journey with us! Go Guardians!!

The new year starts for faculty by developing together, reviewing standard practices, CPR and mandated trainings. It’s all in preparation for the new school year and all for our students! Might have been some singing as well 🎤 😂

As we start the 24-25 school year we had a Senior Kick-Off preparing class of 2025 for the year ahead and talking about the upcoming college application season. Of course the serious talk also included some senior swag and games :) To all senior classes, have a great senior year!

Athletics is not the only activity that competed this weekend, along with our fall sport teams we hosted our KAIAC Debate and Forensic competition, where YISS placed 2nd overall. Proud of our Guardians learning to debate and apply critical thinking skills!

Always a wonderful PD opportunity to meet and connect with other International Education Leaders EARCOS in Bangkok. Learning about ethics and AI usage as well as instructional and leadership strategies for International Schools. Now time to share and apply! #LeadershipPD

Kudos to our Tri-M Music Honor Society for hosting a festive coffee house for students to come, relax and study with some sugary treats. Love when we get to hear our musicians perform for their peers and share their wonderful talents. #musicinschools
