It’s taken quite a bit of courage to speak openly about my experience of intrusive thoughts after neonatal intensive care. Please do share so we can raise awareness and help other parents feel less alone. 👇

Enjoyed learning & presenting British Assoc. for Neonatal Neurodevelopmental F/U conference today-many great presentations! This lovely slide, (Katherine Pettinger) about the qualities listed by families of children who required neonatal care, reminded me of our role as HCPs in also making space for this narrative.

On Parent Mental Health Day 2025, we wanted to signpost parents to the Canopie app canopie.app.link/yX1F7057XMb which has a number of resources to support neonatal parental wellbeing whilst on the unit and beyond. Content developed alongside neonatal families.
