Happy #ScottishMuseumsDay! Had to share some fab photos from Journeys in Design’s Flax Futures exhibition. We’ve been thinking about how museums can better engage with the climate crisis - one way we have been doing this is through the programming in our temporary exhibition space.

Flax Futures celebrated design in flax fibre and linen, drawing on Scotland’s rich heritage with a focus on today’s circular and regenerative economies. For more information, check out Our Linen Stories: ourlinenstories.com

Seeing so many connections being made over the course of the exhibition gave us a lot of hope! & getting to spend time with all the beautifully crafted sunlit textiles was very regenerative. #museumsareselfcare Scottish Museums Federation
