On Tuesday, the Casey Awards posthumously recognized Shirley Young for her tireless efforts in the HIV/AIDS community. Accepting the award on her behalf were her granddaughter, Rebecca, and Dr. Peter's life partner, Andy, whom Shirley affectionately called her son-in-law.
