The first of the #DroneDialogueKE series hosted by Machakos county today brought stakeholders together to discuss drone status in Kenya. FAO is working with @kwskenya and Kenya Forest Service to adopt drone technology in the surveillance of Kirisia/Leroghi Forest towards #ZeroHunger.
Fixed wing drones can be used for large area mapping in constant motion and quad rotor blade drones for point cloud/3D mapping.
