Currently reading a book about bird behaviour and adaptation. Found myself picturing birds sitting in a tree whining about having to adapt to a change in the environment. Not that I'm making a comparison to humans or anything 🤣

Indeed! I also like "I feel like I've been subject to the ebbs and flows of currents. I'm just doing the best I can given the part of the vortex I find myself in today." And in that vortex it can be hard to see what remains in your control and what doesn't. Important to try...
