Fantastic workshop on #TraumaInformedCare and #Psychology in #neonatal practice today. Linking NNN and the Local Maternity and Neonatal System NENC #MNVP leads, led by our wonderful #network psychologist Karen from NeoLeaP.Lots on #compassion, meaningful listening and taking care of ourselves.π

Utterly #inspired by this morning's fantastic webinar with The Smallest Things. Great new #EarlyYears module for #EY settings on how to support children born #preterm. Put perfectly by one fab #parent speaker: "#Prematurity...shapes #childhood in quiet, important ways." Fab session!

Booking is open for the very first bespoke retreat for neonatal and maternity staff at a stunning seaside location on the Isle of Wight. Join myself and Ruth Butterworth this September to reconnect with what matters in a supportive & restorative space rebeccachilvers.com/the-anchor-retβ¦

Absolutely loved the #LightBox exhibition Life Science Centre to kick off the #SchoolHolidays. Eldest was so full of #curiosity. Completely entranced by the #planetarium #SummerSky show too. Best date we've had in a long time! Just hope we've not peaked too soon?! #Learning #Science

I'm standing to be Family Advocacy & Support Lead in the BAPM Exec elections. As an OT, mum to premature children & Founder of The Smallest Things, I bring lived experience and a track record of putting parent voices at the heart of decision making. Iβd love to have your support!

Fast running out of ways to entertain the children by (what feels like) day 936 of the #SchoolHolidays but our gorgeous local #library North Tyneside Council always does the job. I can still picture every nook and cranny of the library I grew up visiting every week. Precious places!
