The new posters promoting Skilled Trades options in Nova Scotia High Schools look great!

8 Skilled Trades teachers recently completed EMCO HVAC training. There are now 3 Skilled Trades Centres with Daikin Heat Pumps that can be installed in units students build in Construction Trades 11. This is a GREAT partnership with industry!

Department staff are providing direct support to students & teachers today in experiential learning. One activity uses fractions to create the 1/16th scale keychain. This involves outcomes in both Math & Skilled Trades, & involves reading a tape measure. NS Education and Early Childhood Development
