I’m not an intensivist, hospitalist, or ED doc. I feel my role in all this is to keep people out of the ED and prevent heart attacks and strokes so that my colleagues aren’t overburdened. Oh wait. That’s always been my job. I hope people get the value of primary care after this.

MAJOR NEWS🗣: Mass General and the Brigham hospitals will no longer use the “race multiplier” for eGFR function. This is a MAJOR win but please know this change is the result of YEARS of hard work, advocacy, and research done by Black students and scholars.
