It’s true. When The Weather Channel Jim Cantore shows up in your town of Punta Gorda, there’s trouble. #NeedGenerators #NoPower #NoWater (pic was sent to us) We evacuated further north in FL, but want to be home. Thankful we are all safe, but devastated.

🥲 This is taking an emotional toll on me. Still not home. No power there. Some water w/ advisory but we have electric stove. Still trying to get a generator to at least be home. #SendHugs #HurricaneIan

Educator friends, besides donations to rebuild, much of FL can use words/letters of hope. Schools in my county closed until further notice. Businesses needing to rebuild. If your Ss would like to send anything I will DM you my address and be SURE it gets in the right hands.

I know many schools/student councils collect donations around the holidays. There are some FL schools that lost everything. Any donations would be helpful. #shinebrightedison

#2 in the nation for his age group, and #9 in the nation out of all boys and men. What a great way to end his amateur career. So proud of PJ, and excited as he begins his professional career in 2023.

Wow! Just saw the list of high honor roll and honor roll students from John Adams Middle So happy to see SO MANY former students on both lists who are now in 7th and 8th grade. Keep reaching for those goals! I am so proud of ALL of you!

3 yrs ago I remember my students walking out of school thinking they were getting an “extra vacation next week.” Instead it turned into them never coming back to the classroom, being a student from home, & overcoming MANY challenges. Look how far you’ve come! Always proud of you
