A change of pace this evening as I visited 2344 (Longbenton) Squadron for their Annual Formal Inspection with Squadron Leader Sheedy. It was great to see the Squadron put their best foot forward, showcasing everything they have to offer! Well done πŸ‘

Last night I visited 473 (Hartlepool) Squadron as Wing Development Officer. I interviewed a prospective CI who is new to the organisation. I spoke with several staff, including someone wishing to transfer into the wing! Finally, I presented Cadet Moore with his Cpl slides!

Today, in my capacity as Deputy OC Wing, I visited 1313 (Whickham) Squadron where North Region were facilitating a VEX Robotics Event. 1313, 361 and 1507 were in attendance, showing off their robots and demonstrating how they compete in the arena! Thank you to Flt Lt Russell

Last Monday I accompanied OC Wing to 2522 (Bedlington) Squadron for their Annual Formal Inspection. The cadets and staff represented themselves really well and it was a great first visit to the Squadron for myself. Well done all πŸ‘

Huge congratulations to CI Shaun Henry, 473 (Hartlepool) Squadron, who sat AND PASSED, his SNCO Appointment Board with OC Wing and myself πŸ‘ He has put in a lot of effort since deciding to move into uniformed service, showing great resilience, and all that hard work paid off πŸ’ͺ
