The National Guard is aware of inappropriate comments made by some on social media concerning the tragic death of a fellow American from political violence. Such comments are reprehensible, tasteless and out of line with our values.

The Department of War maintains a zero-tolerance policy for military personnel or DOW civilians who celebrate or mock the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Mocking or celebrating the assassination of a fellow American is unacceptable in the ranks. Zero tolerance means zero tolerance.
