Four people who died after a fire in north–west London on Saturday have been named by police. Nusrat Usman, 43 & three of her children, Maryam Mikaiel, 15, Musa Usman, eight, and Raees Usman four. Our thoughts and prayers are with the deceased and their loved ones Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan

Today (11th July 1995) marks 30 years since the Srebrenica Genocide. 8,372 Bosnian Muslims were executed in the United Nations ‘Safe Area’ of #Srebrenica by Serb forces. Over 8000 Muslims were buried in mass graves, some of which still have not been discovered!

Residents have observed the ongoing development of the Deepdale Bus Depot. Cllr Zafar with the DCA conducted a site visit to address these concerns and get an update on the site's development. The findings from this meeting will be shared at the next PACT meeting Preston City Council

🇵🇰 This morning, members of the Pakistani community joined the Deputy Mayor of Preston, Cllr Khan, to raise the national flag in celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day. This year’s theme, ‘Marka-e-Haq’ (Battle for Truth), honours the country’s courage, faith, and resolve.
