I seen this & thought it needed sharing. The message was so powerful & shows we don’t know what each other has been through or are going through. Let’s be kind to all those we come into contact with. ❤️ linkedin.com/posts/activity…

NHS England Trauma Audit and Research Network dataset, found that cycle helmet use was associated with a reduction in mortality, severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), intensive care unit requirement and neurosurgical intervention. This a friends helmet!

Great advice. Please use a beach that has lifeguards. Remember, if you see someone struggling in the water, raise the alarm to lifeguards & phone 999 & as for the coastguard. Enjoy our beaches & coastline but respect it.

Today I swallowed my pride & asked for help. Spent a great day with Surfwell team. What an amazing day using surfing & water therapy to start the process of tackling my PTSD. I found this & the significance was the love I felt from the team & my family.

What a day on the water with Plymouth RNLI. Strategically placed whilst the British Sail GP was on. Amazing to see such powerful machines crewed by amazing athletes.

If a child is being #exploited, we know it’s really difficult for them to tell anyone. Children need the support of adults they trust. There are links to help and advice on how to support young people on our website. #LookSusTellUs More info: crowd.in/Nni0ai

This has been rumbling in my brain for a while. Situational leadership. Leaders, stop leading all your people in the same way. Consider each individual and situation differently and, adapt your approach. Stop directing all your people by default. It’s annoying. And daft.

A brilliant acronym that all leaders should print off. It is a challenge to change behaviours but this research shows changes can have significant improvements in team and individual performance. I will certainly be printing this off as my base line.

Very sound advice. Also provides that early warning. Fire Service also great at undertaking assessments, so you have expert advice to where you need them & how many you require.

Today we delivered MBTI to Section 3 RIMO’s as part of team building and personal CPD. Did you know MBTI helps eliminate conflict, it promotes healthy workplace communication, build, your teamwork increases as well. Lastly, who created the best parrot? #MBTI #CPD #teambuilding

Last Tuesday I submitted my resignation. A day of very mixed emotions, sad to be leaving my new team and my colleagues and all that is familiar to me but equally as excited for the future and the opportunities i am going into. So excited to start my new career away from policing
