A great start for the Wildcats here at Powell High School. After the defense stopped Powell on their opening drive, the Wildcat offense marched down the field for a touchdown. 7-0 Oak Ridge mid-way through the 1st quarter.

Powell responds with a touchdown of their own, this time from Connor Wheeler. It’s 7-7 here early in the 2nd quarter.

Powell scores again, and they lead the Wildcats 14-7 with 4:46 left in the 2nd quarter

Powell has all the momentum, as they’ve scored 3 unanswered touchdowns after falling behind 7-0. Powell now leads Oak Ridge 21-7 late in the first half.

Oak Ridge trails Powell at the half, 21-7. Oak Ridge will get the ball first in the second half.

Powell scores again after a lengthy drive in the 3rd quarter. It’s now 28-7 Panthers

Powell scored again, and the Panthers’ lead has grown to 35-7 here early in the 4th.

Powell defeats Oak Ridge 35-7 to drop the Wildcats to 0-2 on the season. Oak Ridge will host Karns next week at Blankenship Field.

Oak Ridge takes a 7-0 lead following a 13 yard touchdown pass from Blaine Stansberry 2026 QB to Malik Howard with 6:00 minutes to play in the first quarter.

Oak Ridge now leads Karns 14-0 following a 70 yard touchdown reception from quarterback Blaine Stansberry 2026 QB to Will Pressley with 1:47 to play in the first quarter from Blankenship Field.

Will Pressley is all smiles and he should be as his Wildcats lead Karns after one quarter 14-0.

DaMillyan Porter scores from one yard out with 7:23 to play in the second quarter and following Eli Pearson’s extra point, Oak Ridge leads Karns 21-0.

Oak Ridge is headed for a much needed win to start the Region schedule with thumping of the Karns Beavers. Oak Ridge has outscored the Beavers 76-0 in the past 7 quarters against Karns. OR on top 35-0. Next week McMinn County at Oak Ridge.
