Matt provided excellent modeling of how to use Desmos. He treated me like a student at times, and although it was uncomfortable for me, it caused me to reconsider how I present things to my students. He pledged his ongoing help too! #RPDP19

I have had more than one presenter mention using different online calculators, and I feel relief. I honestly feel memorization of facts is no longer the most important part of learning math. I would rather encourage the appropriate use of technology. #RPDP19

Teachers are SIX times more engaged & effective when they feel valued & that their strengths are utilized in their school, yet 80% don't feel they are. Imagine what dynamic school cultures and student success could be achieved if all teachers felt valued and supported!

My 8th graders helped me brainstorm ways to engage my 6th graders. They came up with my turning a whoduniit game into "Who's the imposter?" They helped me come up with characters, locations, and methods. One student even created a document of images for me. So grateful.
