Great conversations at our #Migraine patient advocate event Scottish Parliament last night. Thanks to Jackson Carlaw for sponsoring. Eleanorโs speech about the impact migraine has had on her life, work & the inequitous challenge to access treatments was so powerful. The Migraine Trust

Recent poster at the International Headache Society conference: The comorbidity between migraine, depression, fibromyalgia and insomnia is huge. Might they have a common root cause? I believe they all have a degree of malfunctioning metabolism. Fixing that might help them all.

Met James back in 2013 after Benjamins inquest along with Dr Willie Stewart James just got it re the importance of messaging and itโs not a coincidence that Scottish Rugby and Scottish Gas Murrayfield lead the way in promoting this life saving message. Thank you Dr James Robson MBE ๐

Last week we held our second parliamentary event, this time in Scotland. Thank you to Jackie Baillie, a spokesperson for her party on health issues, and Jackson Carlaw, who has spoken about his past experiences with chronic migraine, for sponsoring the event.

Fantastic two day trustee offsite session, a rare gift of in-person connection. Great alignment around our ambition for people with #Migraine. So lucky to work with such an engaged group, no egos, just focussed on being the best to effect positive change. The Migraine Trust

Via The Lancet: Treating patients with #migraine with #ubrogepant in the prodromal phase could reduce the severity of their episodes or prevent the #headache phase altogether: bit.ly/3vHdQQw #NeuroTwitter #PRODROME David Dodick UR Medicine Charles Flippen II Teshamae Monteith, M.D. Matthew Robbins, MD

We ran a #Migraine webinar for people who live in Grampian (part of an Scot Gov Health funded project working with NHS Grampian). 460+ attended, quite incredible & very positive feedback. High numbers also show need for improved public awareness about migraine. The Migraine Trust
