Glad to see this paper out! With my amazing coauthors Babak Hejrani and @MeghanSMiller: We used data from AuSIS network enabled by AuScope , to simulate the #fault plane and #rupture direction of the 2021 #WoodsPoint #earthquake in #Victoria.

I'm going to miss these views! Sadly, I am leaving Tassie and TIA University of Tasmania in a few weeks' time and moving to (literally) pastures new! I'll be taking a new role as Associate Prof in Sustainable Pastoral Systems Charles Darwin University 's Research Institute for Northern Agriculture in Darwin

A lovely end to a run of in-person workshop-lectures. At the end of the session, one of the students said loudly '... that's so cool!', and smiles from class members all round. I was summing up how much we can learn about the natural world using the tools of Wave Physics.

Looking for a postdoc for a really exciting position: Antarctic field work (🤞) this 23/24 summer, collecting MT data and then using it to understand and model ice loss. 2 years, Hobart-based, working with me, Anya M. Reading and the Australian Centre for Antarctic Science (ACEAS) team. DM/email questions! ❄️🧊

We’re coming to the end of a productive week on the island of Rurutu. The main focus of our time here has been on building relationships with the community and briefing them on our research. However, we’ve also been able explore the caves and gather samples. #PolynesianCaves2024
