Today my great grandmother, Lily Ebert, an Auschwitz survivor, turns 99! “I never thought I would survive Auschwitz and have another birthday. At 99, I celebrate to show that the Nazis did not win!” All #HappyBirthdayLily wishes and comments will be passed on to Lily. ❤️

Growing up in my mama's house, calling someone a liar was basically forbidden; so I am loathed to use the word or it's derivative, but this graphic gets at the heart of so much that colors today's discourse.

Just popping back on very briefly to show this episode *is* getting recorded and *will* be done eventually. A screenshot of my working directory at the moment.

"There are people who, no matter how much evidence is presented, are not in the capable to understand, and others blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, all they want is to be right. When ignorance screams, intelligence is silent. Your peace and quiet are worth more."

Andrew Hickey’s podcast dedicates an episode to each of the 500 songs he has chosen to delineate the history of rock music. A recent one about “Dark Star,” by the Grateful Dead, clocks in at well over four hours. nyer.cm/hT475gT

Hey music fans, I highly recommend the podcast The History of Rock Music in 500 Songs by Andrew Hickey. He’s about 175 songs in, and it will take 7 more years to finish this work. When done I believe this will be the most important music history document of all time. Enjoy!

Andrew Hickey’s “History of Rock Music in 500 Songs” podcast is the best. Mr. Hickey chewed me out on this platform for complaining about his trigger warnings. But I forgive ANYTHING when someone makes work of this stunning quality. And besides his heart is in the right place.

Holy sh*t. Never seen an opening to a 60 Minutes as brutal as this one. They start by exposing all the “shifting explanations” from the Trump campaign, including not wanting 60 Minutes to “fact-check” and demanding an “apology” for Trump’s 2020 interview. Watch for yourself.
