Unloved the Vote registering those who have been released from prison or jail! Food distribution! Killing two birds with one stone! #freedomsummer22

Will you participate? This is one of the largest voter expansion since 1963! It’s a big deal! One shot one opportunity. Don’t waste it!

On Feb. 2nd, the North Carolina Supreme Court will hear CSI v Moore oral argument. This historic case will determine if people with prior felony convictions will be allowed to keep their right to register and vote. 🧵 (1/2)

In 44 NC counties, the disenfranchisement rate for Black people is more than 3X the rate of the white population. We must fully and finally end the racially discriminatory practice of Felony Disenfranchisement in NC. #UnlockOurVoteNC 🧵 (1/3)

Come out to our next Walk With A Cop and take a free train ride with the Chief! The event is at Pullen Park next Thursday, April 6th, from 10 am -11 am. This is a great opportunity to meet the Chief and get to know our officers! #raleighpolicedepartment #cityofraleigh

It’s so sad when your own people don’t want solutions to solve our issues. They rather let their ego get in the way and want it to be about themselves. What does that do for the real issues. So sad, but we will try again. Shame on these disrupters.

We tried to bring the stakeholders and the community together to deal with gun violence and our youth, proactive policing and resources for the homeless, unfortunately the disrupters felt since it wasn’t their show they wanted to shut it down. Shame on them!

The community should hold them accountable for what they did to disrupt a opportunity of having a crucial conversation with the stakeholders. They wanted to be seen and nothing less. Shame on them! Thanks to everyone who came to be apart of the conversation.

So proud to attend the Moral March on Raleigh with Repairers of the Breach North Carolina Poor People's Campaign - we stood up to tell our politicians that they must protect poor and low wage North Carolinians, protect a woman’s right to choose, protect LGBTQIA youth, raise the minimum wage, and fully fund public schools
