Changes to taxi rates start on May 1, 2024. In 2023, the Raleigh Police Department began benchmarking taxi rates from across the state and country as part of a review of the taxi fee structure within the city. The new rates are a result of that work. #TaxiRates #RPD #RaleighPD

Update: 11:49 a.m. The lockdown at Enloe High School has been lifted. There will be an early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.

Update: 11:30 a.m. The Raleigh Police Department remains at the school investigating the incident. A systematic search of the school campus has been completed. It has been determined that there is no threat on campus.
