On the eve of the 1 year mark of Russia's invasion, Alexey Navalny (from a penal colony) writes a 15 point plan of "a Russian citizen who wants the best for his country''. Among them: a return to the 1991 Ukrainian borders, full compensation for damages, and war crimes investigations.

If Putin has left you thinking that Russians are invariably brutes, consider Alexey Navalny. My column is about this brave man who, from his prison cell, frightens Putin: nytimes.com/2023/02/25/opi…

Alexey Navalny I couldn't interview Alexey Navalny in his cell, so I interviewed his daughter, Dasha, a Stanford University student who manages exams and papers while also trying to keep her dad alive. No one can know if she'll succeed, but I'd bet that the film on Navalny will the Oscar for best documentary.

The New Yorker just published a big interview with me. Check it out. Loads about early years at the The Anti-Corruption Foundation , the glamour of Moscow in mid 2000s and the unnecessary compromises which didn’t pay off. newyorker.com/news/the-new-y…

"Alexei, the world has not forgotten your vital message to us all: We cannot, we must not be afraid to oppose dictators and authoritarianism wherever it rears its head." “Navalny” wins the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film. #Oscars gma.abc/42jL5Ft

As you know, "Navalny" won the Oscar for best documentary. Here the man Alexey Navalny relates how he learned about the Oscar for the film Navalny -- and I've got to say, he has an amazing sense of humor for someone in Putin's prisons. Navalny has the last laugh!

Media: Roher to Jim Acosta: "What #Russia needs is a @Navalny-like figure, someone with the resilience and skills to instill a democratic tradition in that country, though right now it seems like an impossible dream. ... #Putin is less a president than a mob boss."
