In extremely hot conditions we treated over 100 patients again today, working tirelessly to help the public in their time of need.

St John’s Ambulance on Southend seafront are being kept busy today with a queue of beachgoers needing medical treatment.

Contractors have been working to remove fallen trees around Southend and Essex this morning, following strong winds overnight. This tree was found fallen on Elmsleigh Drive in Leigh-on-Sea, completely blocking the road.
