Omar El Hilali is a European football level player. Teams like Atalanta or Newcastle should be tracking him for next season. He shouldn’t stay at Espanyol beyond 2025.

Omar El Hilali is a classic, old-school defender. Tenacious, aggressive yet disciplined to defend, capable of insane saves, & efficient-nothing aesthetic to watch. Athletic, imposing in duels, constant, & efficient crosser. The kind of RB/RCB a top tactician would love to have.

Ernesto Valverde has incorporated the back 3+freedom upfront at Athletic Club. LB deep/inside, RB high, double pivot with lot of mobility, #9-#10 dropping & total freedom for the Williams brothers. Dynamic, variable attacking play & counterpressing to recover tb high. Top team.

Simeone has Inzaghi’d himself. The profiles of the players, the amount of players involved in attack, the positional freedom -especially of the midfielders-, the btls links, defending in a 5-3-2. Will be a very interesting season for Atlético Madrid.

Pablo Barrios, a natural passer LCM who yesterday built this action from RHS by making the Tomáš Rosický touch-and-move signature move. It’s still early in his career, but I already told you: he’s one of the best #8’s itw. Amazing, amazing talent.

There are few better ways to build a proper physical basis when you go up to the PL than by building a midfield of Anton Stach, Ethan Ampadu, and Ao Tanaka. You won’t get physically outplayed in the middle with those three. Great work from Leeds there.

Colwill’s injury has to make Maresca realize that he has to continue the pragmatic XI. It’s time to reduce risks. Sign Simons, make him play as a pure midfielder, & keep Palmer on the right. Don’t sign Garnacho. Caicedo-Lavia; Neto-Xavi-Palmer Essugo-James; Gittens-Enzo-Estêvão

Dean Huijsen will be one of the best CBs ever. He has no flaws as a backline leader and is already one of the best itw with just one full professional season. He’s a prodigy.

Great 1H for Xabi Alonso thinking long term. It’s the start of what RM hasn’t been able to do since long ago: defend with the ball instead of sitting deep. They’ve been at ZERO risk of being punished or transitioned. The impact for it on the FBs+#6 from Alonso is already big.

This game has been enough to see that THE star of Xabi Alonso’s team is Mbappé. And not because of how well or badly both have played, but because of the freedom and CONFIDENCE with which both play. It’s day and night. Vini’s days at Real Madrid are numbered.

Daniel (@danieiscouting) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Can you imagine that Vini is done? That it was just an insane peak and that’s it? That he won multiple UCLs, became the best player itw, and then ‘disappeared’? He’s been heavily diminished since last season, with no injuries in between. He truly seems like another player.

So Arsenal now have two of their three #9’s injured, & the one who’s healthy is the least talented & physically imposing of them. Those injuries are unlucky, but I can’t get out of my mind how bad Gyökeres’ signing is. If Kai’s injury is serious, embrace a potential 2nd place.

Newcastle fans turning on Isak is such childish behavior. He got an offer from the PL Champions, asked to leave & because he acted in consequence of a disloyal board now he’s hated? & Bruno post? What’s that? “I stayed”? Nobody bid for you. You’re not as good as him. Pathetic.

A 3-2-4-1/4-4-2 hybrid Villarreal team of Luiz Júnior; Cardona, Veiga, Foyth, Mouriño; Moleiro/Pino, Gueye/Partey, Comesaña, Ilias/Pépé; Eyong, Ayoze is very, very good. That team could really go places if injuries respect them and they can keep buying great talents.

Renato Veiga and Santiago Mouriño establishing themselves in the top of football because of Villarreal and not Atlético Madrid should be enough to get someone fired. How can such a big team be so badly run?
