After reading an article in the Guardian I’m now led to believe that environmental lobby groups like open seas and our seas are promoting the torture of flapper skate playing them for an hour and tearing their mouths is fine with them the hypocrisy is unbelievable Mairi Gougeon

Wonder how many of their 'experts' have actually been flapper skate angling and know the reality of skate showing stress after poor handling etc

We are an island nation, surrounded by fish - yet somehow, we’re a net importer. Depressing national decline, further gutting a vital industry. Fishing could revitalise coastal communities like Great Yarmouth, and many more. In 2029, we must finally take back our waters.

We're reeling from the news this morning of Starmer surrendering UK waters for 12 more years. This is no Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. We will respond as events unfold.
