But this isn't just another one. This is a classic! No more Melrose cakes. No more Melrose melt-in-your-mouth butter cookies. No more best creamed chipped beef on toast ever :(

Excellent piece: Private-equity firms own only 11% of facilities...But about 70% of the industry is now run for profit. "They all have the same operational approach, the same strategies for making money. It’s just that private equity tends to have higher expectations for profits”

Anyone know how to reach a real person at #Xfinity or #Comcast? You can't get an agent on the phone, so you can't dispute anything. How do they get away with this? Why is the Pennsylvania AG's office not doing something about this? Xfinity Support

Sorry X world -- have no option than to try to reach #rollo printers here. Horrible customer service -- billed me twice but never put the order through. TBot provides generic email response. Why is there not a law requiring companies to have customer service phone numbers?

Christine Schiavo (@cschiavo22) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Instead of offering customer service #NFLShop tells you to contact them through social media, so here goes. Don't order electronic gift cards through NFL .com because they might not send them (happened to me) and there is no way to report it or get your money back.

Excellent coverage of the Key Bridge tragedy by The Baltimore Sun. It's difficult to write quickly, with lots of updates & feeds from many reporters - and make that story sing. This story was written with knowledge of and affection for the city. #localnews baltimoresun.com/2024/03/26/key…

Kate Raphael's ('24) investigation into the confusion that often surrounds D.N.R.s, part of UC Berkeley IRP's "Aging in America" series, is a "Great Read" on today's The New York Times home page. Just terrific, public interest reporting. Bravo. nytimes.com/2024/08/26/wel…
