SB 57 would permit specified cities and counties to operate facilities for individuals to consume illegal narcotics. This backward proposal shows a disregard for life and would accelerate CA's drug epidemic. Please see my letter urging Governor Newsom to veto this bill.

Our Investigators in partnership with the US Postal Inspection Service served search warrants in Chino and Covina related to an ongoing narcotics investigation. They located 8,000 fentanyl pills that have a street value of about $80K. Great job by all of the Investigators!!

23 years ago today Officer Russ Miller was hit and killed by a drunk driver while on a traffic stop. Russ was my first field training officer just after I graduated the academy. He was a friend and mentor. His legacy lives on and will always be remembered. Chino Police

🎓🏛️ The City of Chino was thrilled to welcome Don Lugo, Buena Vista, and Chino High School students for Student Government Day! From shadowing City departments to running a mock council meeting, these future leaders gained great insight into the workings of local government!

I got the opportunity to attend the Chino Valley Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast this morning. What a great and uplifting event. Darryl Strawberry was the keynote speaker and what an incredible message he had.

Today Sergeant Jason Cloke retired from Chino Police. We have worked together for 26 years, starting back when we were both police cadets. He has left quite the legacy and is going to be tremendously missed. Good luck my friend in the next chapter of your life.

Great job by Chino PD detectives for arresting this suspect for a homicide he committed on April 2. Detectives and Crime Analysts have been working tirelessly for nearly two weeks to get the three suspects in custody.
