Happening now…and it is clear our Allies are concerned about the implications of overturning Roe on the ability of the US to credibly work on women/gender, peace, and security in our foreign policy and natsec and I don’t blame them.

So jazzed to attend the Public Forum today in Madrid! The organizers asked for my 60 sec pre-recorded thoughts on the nexus of gender, climate, and security so I gave it to them and now my name is on the agenda 😳

This is so wildly exciting and you have to appreciate all the behind the scenes staff who made this happen. 🙌🏻

Up front in the new #NATO Strategic Concept: “We will promote good governance and integrate climate change, human security and the WPS agenda across all our tasks. We will continue to advance gender equality as a reflection of our values.” Let’s commit some resources, y’all.
