19 Capitol Police officers have tested positive for COVID-19 since Jan. 8, according to a House aide.

So Capitol Police called me today to come in for an interview. They were pretty cryptic on what it was about, but it turns out they have two ongoing investigations that I was witness to: one, the potential assault of an officer by a Member of Congress, the other, Andy Harris.

Naturally Daniel Schuman is asking great questions in his weekly newsletter: "Does anyone have reliable numbers on how many staff have been vaccinated and how many have not? Or how many staff have fallen ill? Is this being tracked?"
