New preprint by Cecilia Husta, who used the PWI paradigm and RIFT+EEG to investigate the attentional distribution between speech planning and comprehension (and again replicating the intermodulation frequency :-))

A new study by @marlijnterbekke @judithholler et al. shows that listeners can better anticipate when a current speaker will stop talking when they can see them, especially their torso, hands and arms, suggesting a beneficial role for hand gestures. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
