Visited with ABS West students during this morning's groundbreaking of the new campus in southwest Houston. These students will attend the new campus when it opens early 2020 and serves 150 students with emotional and intellectual disabilities from multiple area school districts.

Thankful for the partnership and support from Alief ISD and Superintendent H.D. Chambers at today's Academic and Behavior School West new campus groundbreaking in southwest Houston. We look forward to working with you when the new campus opens in 2020.

Enjoyed the afternoon with our school-based therapy services division during their staff appreciation day. Thank you for your hard work with children in need around Harris County. I'm proud of the work you do everyday in many of our school districts on behalf of HCDE.

Angels Among Us: I shared a story with our school-based therapists today about an angel in my life who encouraged me when it was much needed. I hope it empowers them to be an angel in someone's life because you don't realize the impact you have on children every single day.
