Deeply nested code is hard to read ๐Ÿ˜ข ... In methods with lots of nesting try using the early return and Guard Clause approach to make the code easier to read. The right hand side method ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป uses Guard Clauses and is a lot easier to read. #csharp #devlife #SoftwareEngineering

Simple string concatenation in .NET 8 ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป ... Just for fun, I took benchmarks to see what's the fastest out of common ways used to concatenate a small number of strings together ... String.Join kicks ass, but I mostly use interpolation as it's very readable. #dotnet #csharp

Your regular reminder about LLMs - a ๐Ÿงต. LLMs are, by nature, a type of ~generative~ AI model (as opposed to, e.g., supervised AI models), and the task that they were trained for is to produce the most plausible next word given an input string. (1/n)

So Iโ€™m sitting a training course and the presenter is pronouncing Kubernetes as cub-ernetes, but kubectl as cube-ctl. Now Iโ€™m just confused. Thoughts?

as great as contact swap is in iOS17 (why it wasnโ€™t done sooner, Iโ€™ll never understand), is anyone else with multiple phones (like personal and work) finding it a royal pain in the arse when simply trying to carry or store them? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ
