It is impossible to watch Bridget Phillipson and not conclude she is a thoroughly unpleasant person and - quite frankly - slightly unhinged. How anyone, regardless of political affiliation, can think this is a person who should be in charge of children's welfare is beyond me.

‘I don’t accept the truth’ is such a ridiculous thing to say, even from this lot. Children, parents, & teachers have no choice but to live the truth every single day. Unfortunately, they can’t just refuse to ‘accept’ the reality of this atrocious Labour government. 🥀

Since last year 81 independent schools have shut and 25,000 pupils have left adding a bill to the taxpayer of approx £205 million (The Times and The Sunday Times). A world-class sector being destroyed by this government. This isn’t fairness, it’s the politics of envy at its ugliest
