I ask students to annotate assigned readings with Hypothesis ➡️ 5 points for 5 annotations, either direct comments on the text or replies to peer comments. ➡️ Low stakes credit for work ➡️ Carlos C. Goller (he/him) and I showed it increases students' self-efficacy + sense of belonging.

Come join us for #LiquidMargins, “Connecting the Docs: Creative Uses of Tags in Annotations”—Fri, Nov 18, 9am PT. Janet Mitchell-Lambert of cerritoscollege & David Wick of Middlebury Institute will convo RE using tags, plus other ways to make the most of the margins. hubs.li/Q01s76V_0

Also a great idea for an end-of-semester activity to use with Hypothesis 🙌
