We get asked a lot if being taken to hospital by an ambulance means you get seen to faster in the hospital. The answer is no. Please only call 112/999 in cases of emergencies.

Call 112 or 999 immediately and ask for an ambulance if your child becomes unresponsive when choking. The emergency calltaker will guide you through how to give CPR. If you see the object during CPR, remove it - never place your fingers in the mouth if you can't see the object.
