#OnThisDay in 1929, Tony Lock was born. A left-arm spinner who took 174 wickets in 49 Tests for England, he formed a famous partnership with Jim Laker, taking the remaining wicket when his counterpart took the record 19/90 in 1956. England and Wales Cricket Board
