Someone needs to write their dissertation on Black and brown teachers attempting to practice conscious parenting in their own lives while still teaching in predominantly Black and brown schools. Because WHEW

School buildings have never been and cannot be politically neutral spaces because acquiring knowledge and skills is inherently political.
