I’m so glad to see such a passionate community of people in regards to physical media. Happy to see so many share the same sentiment about it.

Happy to see the physical version of Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 selling well. Also all 3 of these are games that are completely on the cart, no key cards. Hope to see this trend continue.

It’s always weird that whenever anyone talks about still wanting physical games they get attacked. It’s like the strangest thing to be upset about. I don’t care if you buy digitally why are you so butthurt that I wanna buy physical? It’s not your house my games taking up 3

A common counterpoint I hear for digital games is that you can still redownload the games after the shop closure. Well for people in certain regions that’s not true. Nintendo completely removed the ability to redownload 3DS and WiiU games for many places several years ago.

Got all 6 endings for the main game of Cyberpunk finished. All gigs and cyberpsychos finished. Just a few more side missions to go. Will be starting on the DLC soon so my test should be concluded before too long.

It’s pretty sad to see this for a brand new console. I predict my switch 2 library won’t grow as much as other platforms. I will never buy a key card, new or used. I just hope that Nintendo starts offering smaller carts so this situation can hopefully start improving.

If a company would use a normal game card instead of a key card and charge more, I’d still buy it. I will willingly pay more for a proper copy if that’s what it takes. I already do this for indie and AA physical releases. Ownership is more important to me.

Good news! Build A Rocket Boy has canceled the strike on my MINDSEYE FREE ROAM BALADE video. I've been in contact with MindsEye FR for several days now (since Friday). We exchanged very cordial messages. The cancellation process seems to have been complicated, but it finally

Epic Games Store is delisting a game from their storefront and removing it from people’s libraries. This is exactly why I don’t trust digital that isn’t DRM Free. At any point, for any reason, the item you paid for can be taken away and you can do nothing about it.

Any time someone makes a post with wrong info about physical media there is always people there to correct them. Love seeing the commitment the community has to correcting these posts by tagging myself, Does it play? and linking the website. Keep correcting the misinformation.

Great insights 80% of games sold trended physical Third parties didn’t do so well, best title that did was 2077 which is complete on cart. Game key cards overall did not perform those charting numbers and in some cases below low estimates. thegamebusiness.com/p/it-was-the-b…

Key cards titles vastly undersold compared to full physical releases with Cyberpunk 2077 being the best selling third party launch title. One publisher even stated that sales were “below our lowest estimates”.

The Cyberpunk 2077 physical copy situation is crazy to look at. PS4/XOne: Very buggy and broken. PS5: Base game on disc, code for DLC. Series X: Base game and DLC on disc. Switch 2: Base game and DLC on cart. Never thought the PS5 physical would be worse than Switch 2 or Xbox.

Amazing news. No update exists after going online. The disc build is the current up to date version! Not sure if it's the same for PS5 and Switch 1. How unfortunate that the Switch 2 version is the only one without a proper physical
