I used nag my teams to make sure they took time out but didn’t do so myself It took me too long to realise that AL ensures that I able to be the best version of me, personally & as a cop, that I can. 💭Moral of the story: Resting isn’t a weakness & knowing when to is a strength

➡️ Yesterday 3 @SWPValeofGlam officers intervened in an incident off-duty in order to safeguard those present and the wider public. This wasn’t for praise or recognition but because it was the right thing to do. Unlikely media will headline this so I will because I am proud 💙

This morning two @SWPValeofGlam sergeants jumped into cold deep open water in the dark to save a woman’s life .. & they were successful, thank goodness💙 The majority of cops do incredible things everyday to keep our communities safe, I wish more people would remember that 🙏🏻

When you are sat in the car waiting to go in for your Supt promotion board and starting to feel really quite nervous, how’s this for a bit of last minute encouragement ❤️
