NC State, Ohio State and North Carolina all survive major scares at home. If those three had lost, the top-16 would have had major shakeup. It will hold fairly steady since they all held on.

Notre Dame made 14 3's tonight. Texas made one. Both with comfortable wins (ND on it's way). What a contrast in styles. When they played earlier this season it went to OT. Just shows there is more than one way to win. This is what is going to make March so fun.

That wasn’t even nearly a perfect half by UConn (Fudd and Bueckers were a combined 4-of-18 from the field) and they still lead South Carolina on the road by 22. Wow!

Paige Bueckers had her 2nd worst shooting game of the season (4-of-12) and UConn still dismantled a South Carolina team that had won 71 straight at home. Geno Aueriemma said before the game that he still felt like this was a FF team and then his Huskies went out and proved it.

Good question. It was a procedural bump to allow bracketing principles to be maintained. Maryland is naturally on the 5-line but had to moved which the rules of bracketing allow.

This is a huge win for USC, but Texas is the No. 1 overall team (USC No. 2). The Longhorns still win out on every big measurable -- overall record, Quad 1 wins, NET ranking, SOS, better losses.

Here's your breakdown: No. 1's Texas, USC, UCLA, South Carolina. No. 2's UConn, ND, LSU, NC State. Any of the top-6 could still be No. 1 seeds. UConn's climb is tougher though with no real opportunity to build the resume. They will need a couple of teams to hurt their own.

If South Carolina loses tomorrow to Kentucky, UConn becomes the 4th No. 1. If South Carolina wins out and beats Texas for the SECT title, UConn's next best hope is UCLA stumbling before the Big Ten T final. While not locks, Texas and USC have high odds to end up No. 1 seeds.

LSU is a darkhorse, but that would only come with an SECT title that includes a semifinal and final win over Texas and South Carolina in some order. Needless to say the outcomes in the ACC, SEC and Big Ten T's will be huge in determining the final order of the top 6-7 teams.

Tennessee was scoreless more than 6 minutes into the game against Georgia. After Thursday's blowout loss at Kentucky, is there reason to start to worry in Knoxville?

A wild Sunday to wrap up the regular season in the power conferences saw 6 teams in the top 16 entering the day lose. Big takeways -- Tenn out of the top 16; Ole Miss in; 7 SEC teams in top 16; UNC barely hanging onto a spot. No. 1's and 2's stay the same. 3' and 4's big changes

Tennessee's chances of hosting in the NCAA tournament have essentially disappeared with a 3rd loss in 4 games to finish the season. UNC hangs onto to the #16 spot with the comeback, but likely needs another win to stay there.

No seed change for Notre Dame. The Irish are still a 2-seed, but they are now No. 7 overall, passed by NC State. Duke still a No. 3 seed.

If the observable component does come into play heavily with the committee's deliberations this weekend I think it's fair to say Princeton does look like a tournament team. I am going to leave the Tigers in the field. I do think 3 Ivy teams in the field is a real possibility.

There have to be some guidelines on these reviews. That needs to change this off season. That this out of bounds play was reviewed is senseless.

So far there is too much wasted movement for South Carolina on offense, too much dribbling. The Texas defense is too good to allow 1-on-1 dribble penetration.
